Skid shoe 784-5580-0637 is an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) part that fits snowblowers in these series: Craftsman 247; MTD 3AA, 3BA, 31A, 31B and 769; Troybilt 13A, 31A, 5524 and N779; and Yard-Man 31A.Skid shoe 784-5580-0637 attaches next to the auger housing and slides along the ground so the snowblower can move smoothly. It also elevates the auger housing so it clears the ground, protecting it from damage. Replace both skid shoes at the same time to prevent uneven wear.
