Dryer Gas Valve
Gas valve (part number 5221EL2002A) is an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) part that fits some Kenmore 795 series and LG gas dryers.Gas valve 5221EL2002A controls the gas supply for the burner assembly.To check the valve, unplug the dryer and shut off the gas supply and measure resistance of both gas valve coils. Replace the gas valve assembly if your meter measures more than 2,500 ohms of resistance through either valve coil.
